Rapperholic 2026: Sarkodie puts on an amazing show filled with music, culture, and moments you’ll never forget

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie packed the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday, October 24, 2026, when thousands of music fans showed up for Rapperholic 2026, an event that featured amazing music, cultural celebration, and incredible performances.

The concert, which took place in Kumasi for the second year running, drew fans from all over Ghana who wanted to enjoy Sarkodie’s music and be part of one of the country’s biggest music celebrations. According to reports, over 80,000 people attended the event, which went on until early Sunday morning.

Many Ghanaian musicians, like Dope Nation, AlorG, Cojo Rae, LMB Gang, Mr Drew, Oseikrom Sikani, Lasmid, Arathejay, Sista Afia, and plenty more, performed on stage one after another, giving the crowd different types of performances and keeping the energy high throughout the night.

One of the most emotional highlights happened when Sarkodie paid respect to the late highlife musician Daddy Lumba. The rapper set aside time during his performance to honor the late artist and played some of his classic songs, showing fans how much Lumba meant to Ghanaian music.

Sarkodie’s arrival was also memorable because he mixed traditional Ghanaian culture with hip-hop style, showing a projection of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, along with traditional music.

When the show wrapped up around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sarkodie got down on his knees to show appreciation to Kumasi and his fans for their love and huge support.

Rapperholic 2026 wasn’t just about rap music. It brought together people of all ages who love music, celebrated what makes Ghanaian culture special, and gave fans another reason to be proud of Ghana’s music scene.
