Son of late Black Stars player Christian Atsu, Joshua Atsu Rupio, has won the Player of the Season award at his club, North Shields U12, as the little boy continues to show real talent on the pitch, just like his late father did at the 2015 AFCON, where he won the MVP of the tournament.

Remarkably, this is not the first time Joshua has received the honour, having won the award before as he continues to impress with his performances and development at youth level.

Stepping into the shoes of his late father, Joshua is giving his all and making sure his dad’s legacy lives on and never gets erased from Ghana’s football history.
